April is coming to an end and I neglected the fact that it was National Poetry Month. As we are approaching May and Mother's Day we at beruby thought it would be great to combine the two important events and have a quick contest! 

Follow the directions below to participate:

• You must be a United States resident.
•  
• For each one of you who submits either a poem or a short paragraph (minimum of four lines) about an important mother you know, you will each get $0.50
•  
• For the berubier who submits the prize winning piece (to be judged by our beruby staff) you will win a $25 gift certificate to a Spa or Salon near you from our select advertiser, Spa Wish. 
•  
• The contest will end on May 5th, giving us plenty of time to issue you your certificate via email, should you wish to give it to your mother or another special mother you know.
•  
• Please submit all entries via email to uscc@beruby.com with the subject line entitled Mother's Day Contest and don't forget to attach your user information so I know who my Mother's Day Poet is! The winner will be announced Friday, May 6th.

Sorry Caxyme.  Unfortunately the gift certificate is only valid in the US. Feel free to send me poetry however.  I love to hear from our viewers and I absolutely love poetry!
