NEW CHANGE: beruby US in Spanish!!

Dear Users,

 

In the next few days, beruby US will change its language to Spanish

 

The reason behind this change is that we have noticed we have a strong growing community of Spanish speaking users while, in contrast, our English speaking community is growing at a much slower rate.

 

Taking this into account, and taking into consideration that we are facing strong competition from similar English speaking cashback sites in the  US, we have decided to change beruby US to “beruby US en Español”.

 

The above change will not affect your balance or the look&feel of the page.  We will only be changing the language.  In any case, should you have any queries, we will always be happy to answer you in English.

This is goofy! I don't speak Spanish and would prefer to use a site I can read clearly. I can't understand why Spanish speakers don't just use the Spanish platform by clicking on the Spanish flag? My only option is to Click the British flag now since American members like myself are now second class here! Please give us an option to have an English platform.

Please provide both english and spanish because i dont know the language and if all the words are in spanish i wouldnt know what to click on to cash out or anything unless i recognize the symbol. I understand what you are doing and can appreciate the thoughts but if you can if at all possible provide both english and spanish on each page so both languages can be comprehended. I am hoping i am putting this comment in the right place because i do not understand the language just recogize the comment box

I agree! I do not speak good Spanish and you need to make 2 different pages or I'm gonna need to quit. If I can't read whatI'm doing, why bother! This is stupid!

Why would you make a site, that is for the United States, in the Spanish language? Our national language is English. If you have a spanish audience, then put t in BOTH languages. This makes absolutely no sense to me, and it makes me wonder if this site is for me.

This makes no sense! I understand the reasoning but, other sites manage to provide a page for each language, why can't BeRuby? After all, what are all those little national flags at the bottom of the page for, if not to select my region and language and make the page useable for me? If I can't read the pages, I won't be staying with BeRuby either. It feels like you're deliberately trying to get the US customers to quit and I won't stay where my $$ isn't appreciated.

Trying to even read the comments that were placed on each of everyone's comments and CANNOT EVEN UNDERSTAND THEM!! "In any case, should you have any queries, we will always be happy to answer you in English." If they are questioning and complaining to you in ENGLISH than why do you respond on Spanish when you say you are happy to answer in English? Why would you change an American page on your site to be in Spanish? The United States primary language is English. You do not change a United States page to be primary in Spanish. If you have spanish customers, then you should put the choice in their profile to change their account to be in Spanish. I cannot even navigate your page now. How do you expect customers that speak English and NOT Spanish to stay with you? If I cannot navigate your page then I cannot request payment that I would be able to ask for? Is it worth the loss of English speaking customers to you? To post this I am going to click on the green button below, assuming, hoping that it means I am submitting my comment BECAUSE I DO NOT SPEAK OR KNOW SPANISH.   Good Job BeRuby!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I please have my money now?  I have no idea how to cash out and I probably don't have enough TO cash out but I can't tell that since, having been born and raised in the United States, I only speak English.   I think if you are going to make this website unusable by English speaking AMERICANS then you ought to allow us to cash out what we've earned regardless of whether or not we have "enough" to do so.  You changed the rules of the game on us in the middle of the game.

First of all, apologies for the issues you are facing with beruby US. Unfortunately we were not getting any traction with the US site  and had to make a shift towards the Spanish speaking community (which was growing at a fast rate). 

We were also  facing a strong competitor from similar English speaking cashback site in the US where we cannot compete against.

This is the most strangest change I have ever seen in my entire Online life!

I used more than 700 GPT sites the last 6 years and I cannot believe what I must read here.

Guys, I cannot take this seriously but when I look at my calendar then I wonder: IT is not April 1st!

This is bad you need to do two different pages one in Spanish and another in English easy, I speak Spanish and I use Beruby on Mexico and in Spain, Beruby USA should be in ENGLISH!!!

This is unbelievable. Fortunately I do speak Spanish. However, this is basically the way our entire country is heading. It's called anti-discrimination. Native-born and legal US citizens are becoming second class citiznens who have less rights than the rest. It disgusts me.

I do not read or speak Spanish. I read and speak English. I expect pages I go to in the U.S. to be in English. If you want to have a Spanish option, that's fine, but it should be an option, not a mandate. The official language in the U.S. is English. I would appreciate it if you would acknowledge that by offering the option to surf your pages in English.

Need to know what I am reading. I can not read or speak Spanish. To use a tranlator site would be too much of a pain. If there is any changes you should have made it should have been to give us the option. Please give us a choice or there might be one less user.  As much as I love this site I need to be able to navigate it. Thank you!

I love beRuby, I have been user for almost 4 years, and my first language is Spanish, but I prefer beRuby in English, you must to have language options so the users can choose their preference.

Can I cash out without any penalties since I am an American born and raised? It would be quite unfair and poor business practice to penalize me because I cannot speak nor read a foreign language, when this site was in English at the time I joined.


By the way, many English speaking Americans really do not care if another company might be doing better than you are. We want English so we can understand what we are doing on the page.

Beruby es una comunidad de ahorradores, es decir puedes ahorrar dinero sin comprar (por visitas, registros, etc), por tus compras y por tus invitados. Cuanto más paciente seas y utilices Beruby a diario más aumentará tu saldo. Los invitados es una buena manera de conseguir que tu saldo aumente más rápidamente , puedes invitar en "Mi red"/"Herramientas" (la mitad de lo que generen tus invitados y los invitados de tus invitados en "ahorrar sin comprar" se añadirá a tu saldo).

I had to use a search engine on the internet to find this information page. I had not been on BeRuby in a while and when I first logged in and saw everything in Spanish I was wondering if the site had been hacked, or I had perhaps accidentally changed settings in my account to see everything in Spanish. I looked all around the site trying to find a button to change language, or settings in my account to Switch To English or something like that. Fruitless, I turned to the web to find out if others were having this stuck in Spanish "problem". And that brings me to this page where I find out that BeRuby has decided that it's US site will only be available in Spanish, and the admins laughably try to save face with the "few" English-only customers by saying "will not affect your balance or the look&feel of the page" and "should you have any queries, we will always be happy to answer you in English". In the first place, how does Spanish not look and feel different from English (bold faced lie), and secondly, how can answering in English help a person who cannot even find a Help or FAQs or Contact Us in English anywhere on the website? This will be the last time I ever come to this website. So long, good luck, and thanks for all the fish. I will now click on the "Guardar Respuesta" button that looks like it MIGHT submit this "Añadir comentario" form.
